As a designer, I LOOOVE working with DeWils. Their product is of a superior quality, their service team is very responsive and helpful. I have had customers that have had their DeWils Cabinets since the 1990’s that are still in fantastic condition!
I suggest them to all my clients!!!

One cabinet door was delivered with glue squeezed out of a joint, an obvious flaw that quality control should have flagged before shipment. Our dealer told us to use a sharp knife and touch it up ourselves because DeWils stated this is not covered under warranty. We have used other sources for kitchen and bath cabinets before and never encountered a warranty refusal. I recommend that you stay away from this unreliable manufacturer.

I have purchased cabinets from many different sources from Home Depot to custom to discount retailers and I have never been as disappointed with a c cabinet product as I am with Dewils. First it took forever for the cabinets to come. We ordered them through a local custom home builder and could never get direct contact with the company, which was a bit frustrating. When they came there were some damaged pieces and we should have known then that the product was not built to last. Immediately after installation, the paint started to peel off and the wood is super soft and chips easily. We were told that the peeling was due to moisture exposure because the cabinets were near a sink and they would not be replaced but the cabinets are also peeling In areas away from the sink basin. Customer service was not helpful and refused to replace any of the supposedly warrantied products. We have had them for 2.5years and they look terrible. I cannot imagine these cabinets lasting for 5 years let alone 10 or more. For what we paid for them, we thought we were buying good quality, built to last cabinets. Unfortunately, we did not. We are extremely disappointed with them and they should be avoided at all costs.

After spending over $15,000 for cabinets in our newly built Hawaii home, we are seriously disappointed in DeWils. Doors are out of square, and require continual adjustments to prevent rubbing and binding. Shaker style fronts are attached to drawer frames by over-sized holes with screws, causing alignment issues. Trash bin unit drawer does not work smoothly.Joints where rails meet styles are not flush, which again causes binding issues. We bought a “garage door” unit to hide our microwave, however the door of that unit is not the same width as the double doors on the units above and below, and the center style of the unit is thinner than to two door front rails they meet. This causes poor visuals. We have only had them a few months, yet the painted finish on a few doors are showing wear issues.

My wife and I had DeWils cabinets installed as part of a large renovation and complete kitchen replacement. Our cabinets are Cherry with honey wheat stain and black glazed treatment. To put it mildly we love them. I smile every time I walk in the room and we have received many compliments from almost everyone who sees them for the first time. The wood and finish is beautiful, the hardware sturdy and reliable, and the price quite reasonable for a high end cabinet. I give DeWils 5 stars out of five.

I’m disappointed. While some doors are beautiful others are rough to the touch as though they haven’t been sanded. I went with the Horizon cabinets for the streamlined look. Drawers and cabinet doors do not line up. So everything is off. A couple of doors have a crown! Drawers that do not have the soft close. Yep I’m disappointed!

I feel compelled to comment because our experience with the quality of DeWills cabinets is so different!
We chose the DeWills white thermofoil for our entire kitchen, having been told they were very durable and well-made. Yet, we have had serious problems related to their quality. Many of the cabinet doors and drawre fronts began to peel away from the undrelying surface a few years after they were installed. The dealer we bought them from had gone out of business so we didn’t know what to do and let time go by. This year we finally have made contact with the company through a different dealer. We are still awaiting their final response but the first company rep told us it is unlikely that DeWills will stand behind any of our cabinets. Just want to warn others that all that glistens isn’t always gold.

We just finished our kitchen a few months ago and I still can’t stop staring at it – it’s simply beautiful! I’m so glad we found DeWils! I would recommend them to EVERYONE. The quality is superb – all across the board from the choices of wood to the hardward and inserts! The choices of wood and cabinet/door designs are amazing. The designer – well, I can’t say enough about him. He showed us things we could do that we had never thought of – our kitchen is beautiful and totally functional because of DeWils!

We couldn’t be happier with or new painted DeWils kitchen! We looked around at a lot of other cabinet makers because it’s such a big decision – and finally settled on DeWils for several reasons. The product is well built, we loved the door style options and the value for the dollar is heads and tails above the other lines! Everyone else charges more for soft close doors, specialty woods and plywood built boxes. With DeWils, that was all included! We will definitely use DeWils for future projects.

We looked at alot of cabinets before we boughrt our DeWils cabinets.
The wood is really good quality. They were about the same price of kitchens we looked at at our local home center.
Because they are custom made our designer was able to affordably personalize the cabinetry.
We were torn between solid bamboo or mahogoney doors. Dewils is the only companey we found that made solid mahogoney cabinets and did not charge extra for this type of wood. We like dovetailed drawers but dewils has beautiful stainless steel drawers and did not charge extra for those either. We love the stainless steel drawers!

My brother is a kitchen professional with over 25 years of experience. He recommended Dewils to me. He said they were the highest quality best value cabinets made in the country today with an extensive dealer network here in New York.
This is one time in my life I am glad to say that I listened to my brother.
We purchased the Athena door, inset white paint, with a Sheffield door, cafe cherry Island with a hand applied light sanded rub through. The finish is nothing short of spectacular.
Everything arrived to our home on time complete and undamaged.
The price was really affordable. Unlike most other companies Dewils does not up charge for plywood, or wood species. Cherry wood or even mahogany wood are all the same price. As our dealer explained it to Dewils has all of the attributes of a high-end custom cabinet at a semi custom price. We shopped around a lot and couldn’t believe how much value we got from Dewils for our money.
My wife and I are very picky. There is nothing that we can find fault with our new cabinets. It’s the little things that count, we didn’t notice it in the showroom but even the sides of the drawer boxes are sanded smooth and finished. The hinges and drawer glides are top notch too.
I hope other people find this review helpful. This is our third kitchen remodel, but our first Dewils kitchen. This is the first kitchen we are actually happy with!

really classy cabinets that add a real extra wow to my home. I’m delighted I paid a bit extra than run of the mill stuff and from reading some of the comments on here I’m glad I did!!!
