AVOID THIS BRAND. I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering from Bellmont. What a nightmare! This job was due for completion in June 2021. But, there’s been delay after delay with pieces and parts coming in piecemeal over months. I lost my contractor because they had to move on to customers that actually have material to install. Then we found out that the veneer we ordered originally is no longer available! So, we have some cabinets sitting on the kitchen floor waiting for the rest of them to arrive, which probably won’t be in the same veneer, AND we were just told that the most recent date for delivery has been moved out yet another month at the earliest! Sorry, but they can only use the pandemic supply chain issues for so much. The constant delays, wrong sizes and finishes, lack of accountability and outright lies from the sales rep have been too much.

UPDATE: So, it’s been another 4 months (we’re now into our 16th month from due date) and the Keystone Cops at Bellmont still haven’t delivered the correct cabinets and parts. Wrong veneers, wrong sizes, lost items. It’s been one thing after another. And no, there have been no offers of discounts, rebates, condolences or a screw you. Crickets.

The panels for my Subzero were off by an inch. The bottom cover were not even with my other cabinets, and the larger panel for the large door did not match the grain with the other cabinets. It was also difficult to communicate with Belmont as no-one was answering their phones or emails after several attempts.

We did a major home renovation that included a very large amount of cabinets. Nearly all of our cabinets cracked after installation and just overall feel very cheaply made. Our house is climate and humidity controlled, so it definitely was not an issue of seasons changing. They replaced some of the cabinets with the largest cracks, but since then nearly all of the replacement cabinets have cracked also. In fact, you can’t even find one cabinet or drawer front in our remodel without a crack. This is overpriced garbage. Such a dissapointing experience.

As a designer and general contractor, I love to work with Bellmont 1600 and 1900 series. They have the best looks and quality in a semi-custom frameless cabinet line. From traditional to contemporary to transitional (blending traditional and contemporary) The installers I work with appreciate the ease of installation and the support they receive from dealers and manufacturer. As a small business owner their customer service is GRADE A+, makes my job easier and my clients supported and HAPPY!

Hi, We are a Kitchen Dealer in Huntington, NY. We started representing Bellmont five years ago. We and our clients find Bellmont Cabinets to be excellent, with really amazing fit & finishes . This is not a “budget” line! Compared with other manufacturers they have a low warranty rate, and will expedite replacement parts immediately. New wood doors can crack in transit, so that is to be expected with any manufacturer. But most jobs we find have zero warranty issues. Occasionally we do experience a one week delay in production, but in the big scope of things that’s not too bad.
After reading some of these reviews, many appear to be issues between the dealer and the end-user. If the dealer isn’t prompt to order replacement or extra materials, of course the project will be delayed.
We’ve had no unresolved issues with this manufacturer and are proud to be a Bellmont Dealer. Their customer service and follow-up are excellent.

After reading all of these reviews, I cannot help but believe that the positive reviews here are fake or otherwise self-serving in some way. My experience so far has been much more akin to what has been described here by those who cite extended delays, quality control issues, and unresolved warranty problems. We are coming up on 6 months since we ordered with missed deadlines, quality issues and many warranty issues remaining to be resolved. They have yet to meet a single shipment date as originally promised. Our kitchen project has been delayed significantly. The initial shipment was incomplete, included items that were not the right size, and had a number of obviously flawed items that indicate poor quality control. They ship replacement items that arrive in worse condition than what they are intended to replace. We have a pile of cabinet parts that are essentially useful only as firewood. Bellmont does not seem to care that their quality control and service is so poor. I have spoken with a regional rep and with the CEO of the Company. With respect to the CEO (a “Bell” as in Bellmont), I gave him every opportunity to say “I will personally make sure your issues are addressed, but he never would. He even said that I wasn’t the customer!!! – he said his customer is the local dealer I ordered them through. Who does he think is paying for these????? And he spouted a bunch of BS about how long they have been in business, how they always satisfy their customers, etc. etc. Based on the reviews here I can only hope that the cabinets hold up. These are supposedly the top of the line cabinets they carry and we spent over $50 K on our order. Out contractor is livid at Bellmont regarding the delays with our job and reports problems with Bellmont’s quality and service on 4 other jobs he is doing. Bellmont’s modus operandi seems to be to promise delivery dates, ship late and ship it out without looking at what they are shipping, then later playing dumb. My recommendation to anyone considering Bellmont cabinets: STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. If i had this to do over again, I would have picked anybody other than these clowns.

My contractor ordered a kitchen-full of maple cabinets from Bellmont. That was 5 months ago. Our kitchen project drags on to this day! Bellmont has replaced most of the doors three times already, and they still come defective one way or another. Sometimes the corners and edges of the doors are very poorly put together. Other times surfaces are marked with marker underneath polish, or scratched or dented either during production or packing. Bellmont cabinets is nightmare. Stay away!

We have been a Bellmont Dealer for over 6 years and we are incredibly pleased to be able to represent this brand. We mostly focus both Bellmont lines for contemporary design. They have an array of styles for our clients to choose from ranging from solid wood finishes, to laminates, and painted finishes. It’s a great quality cabinetry that can be customized. 2015 was definitely our biggest year in sales with Bellmont, as we did an entire house featuring all Bellmont cabinets, it was over $600K job. The homeowner couldn’t be happier with the way everything looks. We look forward to continue to build our relationship with Bellmont.

I am very impressed with the integrity and customer support of Bellmont. I had my cabinets installed a few years back and recently started having issues with the soft close mechanisms. I contacted Bellmont’s Customer Support department, and even though my warranty had expired a few months earlier they elected to take care of the issue at no cost to me. It is this kind of support and willingness to stand behind their product that will keep me coming back.

We have Belmont 1600 cabinets that have not worn well. Warping and chips that were “repaired” that have returned . Cabinets were installed in 2012 and I have little confidence they will last another 5 years. There were also many blemishes and many parts had to be returned.

For someone who has ordered Cabinets for over 25 years I have been very happy working with Belmont. They have a two-tiered system that I find works great for my clients. you can choose a plywood box as most do or save money on a heavy dense particle board box still get a wonderfully built cabinet. The solid top on a frameless system gives it stability and prevents all the wonderful door styles and painted finishes !

We chose Bellmont for our lake house remodel earlier this year and have been extremely happy with the result. The quality is fantastic for the price and we found the finish/storage options to be better than other lines. We plan on using Bellmont again when we replace the cabinets in our main home and highly recommend them to everyone we know.

My wife and I have remodeled four homes, and in the process purchased Bellmont Cabinetry for the last two projects. They are wonderful and we are thankful we made the decision to have Bellmont installed in our home(s) given their quality and craftsmanship.
Our last remodel was an especially challenging experience. The process of selecting our cabinets was the one shining star of the remodel project. I would recommend Bellmont cabinetry to anyone looking for a quality product.

I see some bad reviews on here about Bellmont Cabinets but I’ve used them many times and my experience has always been great. They offer some very contemporary products that no one else has. Having two price levels to work with is great for me. I’ll continue to use them on my future projects without a doubt.

We installed Bellmont Cabinets in our home last fall of 2014 & absolutely LOVE the cabinets. The paint quality is fantastic compared to other brands we looked at & it has held up very well even with a couple small kids. Definitely would recommend for anyone out there looking at cabinets.

We had a completely custom project done with Bellmont. We’ve used their cabinets twice now in two separate projects. We were sold on their choice of styles and options. To be very clear, this isn’t my first remodel. I’ve used Innermost, KraftMaid as well as Ikea in small quantities. This Bellmont experience was the most expensive of the above and has had the MOST Problems by FAR. Nearly $50,000 worth of cabinets at retail and they just can’t get it right. I know problems exist during custom projects…. but every time replacement parts were sent out they were wrong. We are on our 4th round of replacements (possibly more — I may have lost count). Now they’re starting to back away from replacing parts that are completely wrong. Saying ‘It’s normal’ … seriously — we’re not asking for a replacement kitchen, we’re asking for panels to be cut to the correct size. The list of things that went wrong is endless and their attempt to fix the problem each time just gets worse and worse. While I’ve experienced problems on some level with every cabinet maker, none were as ridiculous, expensive and just plain wrong as this. Additionally, no other maker backed away from replacing incorrect parts. Ever! Unbelievable.

As a contractor I would never install Bellmont cabinets again. They are over priced, bad service, terrible delivery time. 9 months with a unfinished kitchen is unacceptable. Scratched doors, sink base that sink don’t fit, cabinet sent with no drawers, drawers sent 6 weeks later that don’t fit, new doors sent 6 weeks later that don’t fit, drawers sent with no fronts, fronts sent that don’t fit, and screws not sent to install. It goes on and on. Dealer is no help at all. They have their money. Cabinet rep doesn’t know his product. Said go to Home Depot to buy screws. These two ladies should have bought their cabinets from Home Depot if that was the case. Started this project in April. Not done to this date. They even bought the expensive 1900 series. Never again. I have done 3 other projects while waiting for the correct parts. These ladies don’t deserve this.

As a Bellmont dealer, I have ordered and installed 3 different projects now and they all have issues. The other lines I represent are much better quality and stand by their product. Bellmont does not. Their cabinets are delaminating within 3 months. Badly warped boxes in their premium line vary by 3/4 inch. Several drawer slides failed. A cabinet arrived with the back portion separated from the sides. And one set of kitchen cabinets was off by 4 inches, requiring a longer wall to accommodate them.

My bellmont cabinets were installed Sept 2012. The refrigerator cabinet was designed for a standard installation as opposed to a flush install. My sub zero refrigerator did not fit. The designer would not work with me, blamed it on the appliance guy. No resolution. It was a wolf apppliance package so I returned the fridge and all other appliances. Searched for months, but could not find a built in refrigerator that would fit in the space. So, I had to buy a slide in leaving gaps on the top and sides. I lost a lot of money sending back the appliances. So, I had to down grade my appliances leaving voids in my kitchen. The mic/oven cabinet has a large void where the oven was going to be placed. The oven was installed where the steam oven was planned to be installed. There are gaps in the doors/joints. Glue in the seams.Raw plywood under the bar area. Nail heads showing. Rough wood. Splinter in my finger while handling the cabinets. Finish pieces missing, poor alignment, etc. Most problems are related to design and installation. However, incorrect color and grain patterns were shipped. Powder bath vanity was late shipped (3-4 months) vs never ordered, but paid for. Incidently, mis matched color and grain patterns were discovered by myself, not the installer. New doors for my powder bath were never received. Nor was the built in bathroom hamper.Overall the quality is fair. The stain is waring off in some areas and rough edges are apparent. I could go on… After two years of anger and depression over my kitchen, I decided to attempt repairs. Contacted a bellmont cabinet dealer to purchase parts and materials Mar 2014. He later referred me to the bellmont rep who committed to go direct to the factory for replacement parts. It is now Sept 2014 and no materials have been received. Have had multiple designers and craftsment to my house for consult on my kitchen. They recommend obtaining factory parts because of the inability to match the stain. Otherwise, I will need to use raw materials and paint the entire kitchen. Kitchen remodel nightmare!!

Not too sure about the other reviews but we’ve just did our kitchen in the 1600.
The design was our own, so the KD just had to go over specifics, door styles, trim etc. The cabinets were ordered early and were actually ready within the 5 week timeframe.
My wife and I did the install ourselves. We did discover a few screw pops and blemishes on some doors and sides. The KD came out within a few days and ordered replacement pieces.
The cabinets look great! They’re solid, square, level, and we’re both very happy…even with the few little issues.

I have had nothing but problems from Bellmont and would not recommend them to anyone. I ordered cabinets with a promised ship date of 6 weeks. However it took 12 weeks until they were actually delivered. They doubled the delivery time. During that time, I was not kept informed of the status of my order. One of the several excuses I was given was that my order “just didn’t make it on the truck and that they had no idea why”. This one excuse resulted in yet another one week delay. Then when my vanity did finally arrive it was the wrong color. A simple comparison of my order sheet versus the label on the cabinets clearly shows that they did not ship the correct item. When the company I ordered them from called to complain they were told that it will take at least another six weeks to deliver the vanities. Everyone, including companies, make mistakes but that is where customer service comes into play and this company does not make any effort to make their errors less painless for the customer. I do not recommend them.

I had the Bellmont 1600 series cabinets installed this spring. I was most disappointed. I listened to two different KD who said they were told that the 1600 series was very good and did not recommend going up to the 1900 series based upon the sales rep advice. Well, they are not very well constructed. My contractor was stunned at the poor quality of the lazy susan and what he had to do to install it. It didn’t come with any support pieces. Also, the bottom of my gray cabinets were white laminate like the inside but the one cabinet from the 1900 series I had to get had a gray bottom. Also, the side of one cabinet underneath, had a gray finish piece but the others aligned with it did not. The corner cabinets have a large space no matter how much we try to tighten it up and the white from the shelves shows through. I am really kinda sick to my stomach that I was duped after spending so much time looking for a frameless cabinet. I would not recommend this line if asked unless they move to the 1900 series. I feel like I got stuck with real cheap cherry with flaws that show through the finish. Also, the paint stick I received was for Alder and it doesn’t match. On a good note, after much effort on the part of my KD, the company finally agreed to send a piece of gray board that could be attached to the bottoms of the cabinets. However, the labor I had to pay for not only to install it and then add a custom finish edge would have probably been better served in moving into the 1900 series.
