I bought my beautiful Denali (Schrock Select) white painted kitchen cabinets in the fall of 2013. I had upgraded to all plywood and soft close drawers. I had a fantastic kitchen planner at Menard’s who spent hours and hours with me planning, revising and recommending. I truly had the kitchen of my dreams. I also had good luck with two contractors. I actually fired the first contractor part way through my remodel because he wanted to built my exhaust soffit to different dimensions than I requested. But the install of the actually cabinets went very well and both contractors were pleasantly surprised at how well made the cabinets were. When I sold my condo in January 2018, the kitchen was a big selling point. The kitchen was still “brand new” looking. The only small problem I had were grease stains near the stove, but a heavy duty degreaser took care of it. (I should have cleaned more often apparently). I actually am going to be looking into getting Schrock cabinets again for my “new to me” home. I’ll still go with the value line with upgrades and painted cabinets. I would guess most of the problems people had are with the dealers or contractors rather than the cabinets themselves. Also, I think that most people who love there cabinets probably aren’t writing reviews. I’m writing this review because I’m so disappointed Menards doesn’t carry Schrock anymore and I have to go with a custom dealer. I truly wanted to work with my kitchen planner at Menard’s again.

We purchased Schrock Select Bayfield Oak design for our small kitchen in June 2017 from Menards in Crest Hill, IL. Installation was good and fit the design plan perfectly. BTW, the function and quality are great. These middle of the road cabinets are just what we wanted and provide us with the space and elegance we expected. Sad that Menards stopped selling the line we purchased. If we want to add on to our kitchen design, we’ll have to either improvise or go to another seller to get what we want. If you know what you are doing, you won’t have any problems will this product. Shame on you Menards, you listen to way too many people who don’t know how to install a project correctly. Sometimes the customer is ignorant.
