I have a cabinet shop with 4 different brands, What I sell is from contractor grade to high end. They ALL have their problems. The more you spend the less the problems. I have spent my working life installing, building and selling cabinetry (30 years now) I have seen the best cabinet shops come and go in my field. Yes I do sell Bridgewood cabinets. They have the lowest $ to problem ratio of the cabinets that I sell even my high end. Crystal is a good cabinet, but you will spend 40% more on them. When looking to buy cabinets you need to make sure you are looking at the same 2 apples. Kendra, yes the bottoms of your cabinets do not look that great, I have not had that problem yet but your installer did a bad job in lining up and adjusting the cabinets, that stands out more to me. How Bridgewood cabinets come wrapped with the heavy paper was a big issue for me at first, I thought it was shit way of doing it. Then I found out they are shipped out of their factory on one truck, the same truck came to my showroom and me and my guys took the cabinet off the truck much less damage. The other brands I have come on pallets with a cardboard wrap but they all go through 2 to 3 truck transfers, they have way more damage then Bridgewood. The last thing I will say is the finishes. I have seen finishes break down around handles and knobs in the past 20 years, it noes not matter the brand or the cost. I was told once the chemicals on your hands (creams, soaps, etc.) break down the water based finishes that we have to use today faster then 20 years ago.

Sadly Kendra was not educated properly by the dealer. PVC edgebanding NEVER matches real wood. It is IMPOSSIBLE to. The dealer should have ordered panels to finish correctly.
Most finishes will wear off near the knobs. Especially high use areas and when wet hands are touching the finish. It the past people used “Backplates” to prevent this typical occurrence. You may want to add them.
I am a Mfr Rep for over thirty years. Customers need to be realistic. Wood is Wood….

Been very happy with the quality of the kitchens I put into my remodels, this company has come a long way from a few years ago both in customer service and finishing.

I ordered ERA cabinets for kitchen and bath as part of a remodel. 24 cabinets were delivered with minimal packaging – not in boxes or crates. Over 60 defects were documented by my sales rep. I was told the cabinets had not been cleaned prior to leaving factory in addition to basic QA not being performed regarding scratches and chips. Several cabinets were not square and I was told that was unfortunate but an expert installer should/could work around that. It tooks months to attempt remediation – sometimes replacement items needed to be sent several times due to the SAME QA issues. I have no faith that these cabinets will stand up to regular use and the customer service has been non-existent. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I have used Bridgewood on many projects over the years and in the last 2 years this cabinet line has knocked it out of the park. The products just keep improving with each order we install. They have completely new heavier finishes, new door choices, more mouldings, and more cabinets. The construction has really improved over the years but they have kept in the same budget we need to be in for our installs. Having good designers does make a difference on any job so thank you to them. Someone at the factory has been making huge changes.

These people don’t know the meaning of ‘custom’. Their own marketing materials state, “Which wood makes your kitchen feel like the kitchen of your dreams?” — well for me that would be knotty alder — but they don’t tell you that they are going to make your custom cabinets to spec and then ship them with faux, ugly oak edge banding that neither matches the maple interiors nor the knotty alder face fronts that you paid extra for. Their BS materials go on to say: “Complete customization means your choices are limitless.” — Complete and utter BS – NOT limitless choices. They don’t stand behind their product and won’t fix their mistakes, stating that they did no wrong. What moron decided it was appropriate to have maple interiors with rustic alder exteriors and then slap edge banding on in oak?! — It may as well have been white or black or melamine and it looks hideous. Complete jerks. EVERY cabinet, EVERY reveal, EVERY under cabinet. Who the hell was on QA that day? And why don’t you make it right for your ’40 yrs of quality workmanship’?! Horrible customer service.

Finishes are very poor. Still using Chinese plywood that splits and de-laminates. No customer service and will not stand behind products. Cabinets out of square.

I would NEVER recommend buying Bridgewood Cabinets. After 5 years, the finish around our door & drawer knobs is completely failing – literally peeling off. The Bridgewood representative came out to look at the problem and even he said this shouldn’t happen. However, Bridgewood is refusing to stand behind their product claiming the finish is failing due to normal usage. If this is what happens as a result of opening and closing cabinet doors and drawers, then that speaks volumes about the quality of their product. Get Crystal Cabinets.
