AVOID THIS BRAND. I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering from Bellmont. What a nightmare! This job was due for completion in June 2021. But, there’s been delay after delay with pieces and parts coming in piecemeal over months. I lost my contractor because they had to move on to customers that actually have material to install. Then we found out that the veneer we ordered originally is no longer available! So, we have some cabinets sitting on the kitchen floor waiting for the rest of them to arrive, which probably won’t be in the same veneer, AND we were just told that the most recent date for delivery has been moved out yet another month at the earliest! Sorry, but they can only use the pandemic supply chain issues for so much. The constant delays, wrong sizes and finishes, lack of accountability and outright lies from the sales rep have been too much.

UPDATE: So, it’s been another 4 months (we’re now into our 16th month from due date) and the Keystone Cops at Bellmont still haven’t delivered the correct cabinets and parts. Wrong veneers, wrong sizes, lost items. It’s been one thing after another. And no, there have been no offers of discounts, rebates, condolences or a screw you. Crickets.

The panels for my Subzero were off by an inch. The bottom cover were not even with my other cabinets, and the larger panel for the large door did not match the grain with the other cabinets. It was also difficult to communicate with Belmont as no-one was answering their phones or emails after several attempts.

We did a major home renovation that included a very large amount of cabinets. Nearly all of our cabinets cracked after installation and just overall feel very cheaply made. Our house is climate and humidity controlled, so it definitely was not an issue of seasons changing. They replaced some of the cabinets with the largest cracks, but since then nearly all of the replacement cabinets have cracked also. In fact, you can’t even find one cabinet or drawer front in our remodel without a crack. This is overpriced garbage. Such a dissapointing experience.

After reading all of these reviews, I cannot help but believe that the positive reviews here are fake or otherwise self-serving in some way. My experience so far has been much more akin to what has been described here by those who cite extended delays, quality control issues, and unresolved warranty problems. We are coming up on 6 months since we ordered with missed deadlines, quality issues and many warranty issues remaining to be resolved. They have yet to meet a single shipment date as originally promised. Our kitchen project has been delayed significantly. The initial shipment was incomplete, included items that were not the right size, and had a number of obviously flawed items that indicate poor quality control. They ship replacement items that arrive in worse condition than what they are intended to replace. We have a pile of cabinet parts that are essentially useful only as firewood. Bellmont does not seem to care that their quality control and service is so poor. I have spoken with a regional rep and with the CEO of the Company. With respect to the CEO (a “Bell” as in Bellmont), I gave him every opportunity to say “I will personally make sure your issues are addressed, but he never would. He even said that I wasn’t the customer!!! – he said his customer is the local dealer I ordered them through. Who does he think is paying for these????? And he spouted a bunch of BS about how long they have been in business, how they always satisfy their customers, etc. etc. Based on the reviews here I can only hope that the cabinets hold up. These are supposedly the top of the line cabinets they carry and we spent over $50 K on our order. Out contractor is livid at Bellmont regarding the delays with our job and reports problems with Bellmont’s quality and service on 4 other jobs he is doing. Bellmont’s modus operandi seems to be to promise delivery dates, ship late and ship it out without looking at what they are shipping, then later playing dumb. My recommendation to anyone considering Bellmont cabinets: STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. If i had this to do over again, I would have picked anybody other than these clowns.

My contractor ordered a kitchen-full of maple cabinets from Bellmont. That was 5 months ago. Our kitchen project drags on to this day! Bellmont has replaced most of the doors three times already, and they still come defective one way or another. Sometimes the corners and edges of the doors are very poorly put together. Other times surfaces are marked with marker underneath polish, or scratched or dented either during production or packing. Bellmont cabinets is nightmare. Stay away!

We had a completely custom project done with Bellmont. We’ve used their cabinets twice now in two separate projects. We were sold on their choice of styles and options. To be very clear, this isn’t my first remodel. I’ve used Innermost, KraftMaid as well as Ikea in small quantities. This Bellmont experience was the most expensive of the above and has had the MOST Problems by FAR. Nearly $50,000 worth of cabinets at retail and they just can’t get it right. I know problems exist during custom projects…. but every time replacement parts were sent out they were wrong. We are on our 4th round of replacements (possibly more — I may have lost count). Now they’re starting to back away from replacing parts that are completely wrong. Saying ‘It’s normal’ … seriously — we’re not asking for a replacement kitchen, we’re asking for panels to be cut to the correct size. The list of things that went wrong is endless and their attempt to fix the problem each time just gets worse and worse. While I’ve experienced problems on some level with every cabinet maker, none were as ridiculous, expensive and just plain wrong as this. Additionally, no other maker backed away from replacing incorrect parts. Ever! Unbelievable.

As a contractor I would never install Bellmont cabinets again. They are over priced, bad service, terrible delivery time. 9 months with a unfinished kitchen is unacceptable. Scratched doors, sink base that sink don’t fit, cabinet sent with no drawers, drawers sent 6 weeks later that don’t fit, new doors sent 6 weeks later that don’t fit, drawers sent with no fronts, fronts sent that don’t fit, and screws not sent to install. It goes on and on. Dealer is no help at all. They have their money. Cabinet rep doesn’t know his product. Said go to Home Depot to buy screws. These two ladies should have bought their cabinets from Home Depot if that was the case. Started this project in April. Not done to this date. They even bought the expensive 1900 series. Never again. I have done 3 other projects while waiting for the correct parts. These ladies don’t deserve this.

As a Bellmont dealer, I have ordered and installed 3 different projects now and they all have issues. The other lines I represent are much better quality and stand by their product. Bellmont does not. Their cabinets are delaminating within 3 months. Badly warped boxes in their premium line vary by 3/4 inch. Several drawer slides failed. A cabinet arrived with the back portion separated from the sides. And one set of kitchen cabinets was off by 4 inches, requiring a longer wall to accommodate them.

My bellmont cabinets were installed Sept 2012. The refrigerator cabinet was designed for a standard installation as opposed to a flush install. My sub zero refrigerator did not fit. The designer would not work with me, blamed it on the appliance guy. No resolution. It was a wolf apppliance package so I returned the fridge and all other appliances. Searched for months, but could not find a built in refrigerator that would fit in the space. So, I had to buy a slide in leaving gaps on the top and sides. I lost a lot of money sending back the appliances. So, I had to down grade my appliances leaving voids in my kitchen. The mic/oven cabinet has a large void where the oven was going to be placed. The oven was installed where the steam oven was planned to be installed. There are gaps in the doors/joints. Glue in the seams.Raw plywood under the bar area. Nail heads showing. Rough wood. Splinter in my finger while handling the cabinets. Finish pieces missing, poor alignment, etc. Most problems are related to design and installation. However, incorrect color and grain patterns were shipped. Powder bath vanity was late shipped (3-4 months) vs never ordered, but paid for. Incidently, mis matched color and grain patterns were discovered by myself, not the installer. New doors for my powder bath were never received. Nor was the built in bathroom hamper.Overall the quality is fair. The stain is waring off in some areas and rough edges are apparent. I could go on… After two years of anger and depression over my kitchen, I decided to attempt repairs. Contacted a bellmont cabinet dealer to purchase parts and materials Mar 2014. He later referred me to the bellmont rep who committed to go direct to the factory for replacement parts. It is now Sept 2014 and no materials have been received. Have had multiple designers and craftsment to my house for consult on my kitchen. They recommend obtaining factory parts because of the inability to match the stain. Otherwise, I will need to use raw materials and paint the entire kitchen. Kitchen remodel nightmare!!
